EMILY
To all of you who helped me get Emily,
I just wanted to send these pictures to you all. Emily and I are doing
wonderfully!! As you can see from the pictures, she is very active and
loves the dog park here in Auburn. We go to the park every day and she
runs and runs and runs, in circles, after squirrels, after me, around
me, wherever she can! It is so adorable to watch her ears flop around.
She is so playful and runs like crazy (and she is dang fast too, she's
like a little streak around the field).
At
first she wouldn't put anything in her mouth, and then we went to PetCo one
day and she found a stuffed squirrel...it was love at first sight and
she insisted on carrying it to the checkout line, and loves it to death!
Needless to say she now puts just about anything in her mouth, including
my cell phone charger, which thanks to a large amount of Emily slobber
does not work any more. 
After
her first day alone when she tried to rip down my miniblinds, she has
settled in nicely, and the blinds make quite the decorating statement...a
sort of I have a dog, and I love it kind of look!
At the end of this month we are going to take a trip to DisneyWorld with our immediate family and Emily has a Mickey Mouse doggie collar and leash just for the occasion! She is quite the traveling dog, I started her out right with the trip from Dallas to Auburn and now she goes almost everywhere with me! I love her SOOOOO much, and we fit each other better than I ever imagined we would. We are perfect for each other.
