This is Danny with an update. I've been living with Lynn and Rick for almost a month now and know that they'll work out for me.

Before I came to live with them, I had been dumped out in the woods. A hunter brought me to a vet. I was placed with English Springer Rescue America, who put me in a really neat foster home with Stephanie. Lynn and Rick saw my story here and instantly felt a bond.

My new family has two sisters and one brother. I won't hold it against them that they're only cats. We're all making an effort to get to know each other better and doing great at it. In fact, one of my sisters, FyreKat, likes to follow me around and I do the same with her.

I have a neat back yard, almost 1/2 acre with lots of trees and shrubs. This kind of concerned my parents at first because I have hardly any eyesight, I can only see very dim light and shadow. But I learned my way around their house and yard really quickly and love to run outside. I also like to play with my toys (check out the pic with me carrying Mr. Piggie!) and have learned to play fetch - I'll drop a ball, push it away with my nose, and  then find it. If my parents throw me the ball, I can usually find it if it doesn't go too far.

My mommy and daddy think I'm really sweet and loving. I'm trying to be good but I'm still young and have lots of energy so the couch pillows sometimes get thrown around a bit. I like to sit on their laps and go for rides in the car. I hope all of my brothers and sisters here also find homes like I did.
