Clancy came to us a year and a half ago from the Chatahoochee Chapter Springer Rescue Association. We first met Clancy on the internet and felt compelled to drive the short 90 miles to Montgomery, Al to visit him.

We took our Springer Maggie with us to introduce her to her new brother. They of course had an immediate attraction for one another. Clancy's step-mom Cristi Cooper had taken extremely good care of Clancy and cured him of his heart worms. After we got Clancy home he had to teach us who really had control of the household. We're still learning to make his life as comfortable as possible. He turned 10 years of age this fall and still has his playful moments. His 4 year old sister Maggie encourages him to frolic at every opportunity. She thinks these opportunities are when your awake.

She loves treeing squirrels and Clancy likes to sit on the deck and watch her tree squirrels. He gives an occassional bark of encouragement from time to time. He gets to share his bed with his human sister Bethany and even allows her to sleep under the blankets. Truth be known, Clancy is a true joy and a delightful companion to all. We're certainly glad to have him in his home!
