CHESTER
We adopted Chester 3 months ago from ESRA. We were looking for a companion for our Yellow lab Molly. We had to put her brother down the day after Christmas, our beloved Brittany, at the age of 15. Molly had never been without her brother and after he passed away she became depressed, stopped eating and laid around all day. A few months later we began the search for another dog. After weeks of communicating with Chester's foster mom, Deb, we thought he sounded like the dog for us. We drove over just to meet him and an hour later we left with him. He fit in flawlessly and we believe that is due to ESRA and the fostering system, we felt like we knew him before we met him.
Chester has brought Molly and our family back to life again. He is very high energy, but that is exactly what Molly needed, they are now inseparable, playing ball all day, and swimming in the lake chasing sticks and ducks. Although very high energy, he is a great family dog, following us around every where and laying on top of us when we sit down for even a minute. He has more personality then any dog we've known before and can't imagine life before him. We are so happy to have in our lives
