Charlie has been with us for a year now and I'm happy to report that there have been no complaints from Charlie about us. To celebrate his "birthday" we drove up the coast to Cayucos which is just north of Morro Bay and south of Hearst castle. We stopped on Santa Barbara to visit Three Dog Bakery. Charlie liked it a lot because he was given some peanut butter ice cream the moment we walked in and because he was so cute and good with all the other customers, he got a second helping of ice cream.
We
spent the next two nights at the Cayucos Beach Inn. We highly recommend
these accommodations. Your dog is provided with a blanket and a beach
towel. It's short walk to the beach which is very enjoyable as you can
see above. There is a place to wash your dog after romping through the
sand and kelp. The next day we went to Cambria which is very dog friendly
as well. We ate at a restaurant that provided Charlie with his own water
and cookie (one of 6 cookies people gave him on our trip). We went to
the beach, however dogs were not allowed on this beach. Bummer! We all
ate in at the Inn that night and checked out some complimentary videos.
Any noise outside our door was quickly investigated by Charlie who had
his very own peep hole in the door. Charlie had a good time because he
slept most of the way home with his new toy rabbit.
All the best,
Terry, Belle & Charlie
