Callaway at Golden Gate Bridge
We adopted Callaway from ESRA on September 15, 2000. After a few e-mails and phone calls with his previous family, we bought him a one-way airplane ticket from Minnesota to California. He arrived with all his belongings and has settled into our happy home.
We have affectionally introduced Callaway to our family and friends as our "Internet doggy." We will forever be grateful to the ESRA web site for providing such a wonderful service. Since adopting Callaway, we have joined the Golden Gate English Springer Spaniel club where we have met lots of wonderful new friends of the two-legged and four-legged variety. We have also promised to keep in touch with Cal's former parents so they can feel comfortable with their decision to let him go.
