HAPPY ENDINGS!

BUSTER

Life without a dog? NO WAY! We were blessed 15 years ago with our first English Springer Spaniel rescue (not thru ESRA) from the pound and enjoyed Woody's life with us until is departure a year ago.

We had also rescued another Springer 4 years ago from a friend's friend who had purchased Lilli (on right in photo) but was unable to keep her and could not find a home for her. He was on his way to the pound when he stopped by our house to see if we knew of anyone who might want to take her. Well.....

After Woody passed on, Lilli was very depressed but I was just not able to make an emotional attachment to another dog. Woody was my true "soul mate".

But then I was "surfing" one day and came across the ESRA website. Buster's bio (he is on the left of my daughter) red like a duplicate of Woody's. I was amazed!

We love Buster very much and I think he is very happy here (butt wiggles galore!). And he is so cuddly! He just plops himself down on your lap or up on the bed in the morning. We call it "the Buster Flop"!

I am so taken with the wonderful people who donate their time and hearts to these precious animals that I have volunteered to helping out wherever I can with the Pacific NW chapter of ESRA. I just finished fostering Sammy (from Spokane) who was recently placed (yippee!).

Thank you from the bottom of my heart! :>)
