My husband and I adopted Ben December 24, 2009. He is quite a character - he has two gears, parked and 5th gear-over-drive! To say he loves to run is an understatement. He is happiest on days that he gets to go out after breakfast (about 6 a.m.) and not come back in until dinner time, 12 hours later, covering our 21 acres with ease. Of course he will stop by for a sloppy face -in-the-water bowl drink, or to say hi for a minute, but then he is off again. Sometimes we do catch him taking a snooze in the tall grass when the sun is out.

Ben has 3 older siblings, all spaniel type crosses, who being older and more sedate watch him run laps around the house - I can't imagine what they think of this... ! Ben gets along with everyone, he is the best natured dog I have ever seen. He immediately became a part of our family, and we love him alot. Thanks to eveyone at Springer Rescue who helped to make this happen.
