HAPPY ENDINGS!

BALOO

When Baloo's owner moved without him, he was impounded in San Diego County Animal Control. Being an older dog (age 10) not showing well due to neglect, it was evident he would quickly be euthanized.

ESRA's affiliate, Dr. Susan Dobbs, pulled Baloo from the pound and kenneled him at her facility. He was in terrible coat condition, matted, smelling so bad. He had grown into his collar, which had to be terribly uncomfortable for him. Plus, he had an enormous tumor hanging from his right ear.

First thing first, Dr. Dobbs bathed and cleaned Baloo up. Then, he went into surgery for the tumor removal. The tumor weighed nearly a pound. What a relief for the dog not to have it hanging any longer from the ear.

From the above situation to his adoption finalized August 15, Baloo never lost his love for those who showed they cared. He is the most dearest of all Springers, handsome, intelligent, eager to please.

Baloo was recently placed in southern California through ESRA's "Springers For Seniors" adoption program. His new people love and adore him. Given a second chance, he has now found his "forever" home.
