From Andy's new family: Andy came into our home in February, still unsure of what life had in store for him. He was rescued from an animal shelter, along with his brother Court, around Christmas. The foster family said that he was and is a real personable fellow. The local ESS coordinator Marie D., talked to Susan and myself, and said just go visit. When we drove up in the foster home drive way, Andy came straight up to Susan and started kissing her, and the rest is history. Now that he is feeling more at home every day his personality is really showing. He loves his toys, which he will not leave outside at night, he brings every one of them back into the house when it gets dark. and his walks. Andy will talk to you when he wants something (mostly attention). The first couple of weeks he exhibited separation anxiety, he chewed up what ever he could find, the last week or so he has not chewed anything but his toys. Andy loves the freedom of the doggie door, and took to it within 15 minutes when he first came into the house. As of this time he has become a big Mama's boy, and follows Susan constantly. What a joy he has brought back into our home.
