This is Abby. I had just lost my Springer, Lilly, after nearly 17 years when Abby [then known as Candi] showed up on the ESRA website. She was in a shelter in southern Minnesota. After we met, and I passed the background check, I drove through a nasty snowstorm to bring her home.

Since then she has eagerly taken on duties of protecting the yard from marauding squirrels and rabbits. She is incredibly sweet and smart.

I am so fortunate that we found each other.
