Hi, my name is Sam! I was dumped outside a shelter near Youngstown, Ohio with my brother and I was oh so sick! I was found soaking wet and my hair was all matted and I had lost a lot of weight. Then, the wonderful people at Springer Spaniel Rescue picked me up and took me to the doctor and I received the treatment I needed. Soon I was on my way to my foster family in Brecksville, Ohio where a very nice family took me in. I just relaxed there while going back and forth to the Veterinarian to have more work done on my skinny little body. My foster family included two other Springers who played with me and made me feel like life may be worth living after all.

Then one day, a nice man and woman from Medina came to meet me. They seemed to be quite taken with me and soon I was officially adopted and on my way to my new home in Medina. I have to tell you that I have made myself right at home. I have a new Golden Retriever sister and even though she is much older than me, she plays with me and puts up with my chewing and yanking her ears, tail and feet. I just love my new forever family! I snuggle with my mom and dad at night while they read or watch TV and I sleep quietly in bed with them all night. When the clock radio goes off in the morning, I help my mom and dad wake up by giving them a big kiss right on the head!

Right now I am loving the snow! I have a big back yard with an Invisible Fence that keeps me safe but also gives me and my sister about 3 acres to run and play. I learned all about that fence in just a few minutes and have been enjoying my yard ever since. Boy this is life!

I could not have found a better home and could not be happier. Thank you ESRA for helping me find my forever home and making me and my new family so very happy!
