Glory and her sister were
bought from a puppy mill in Ohio by a US
serviceman. He was posted to Alabama
and was allocated a house close
to a main highway and with no fences, so the dogs were chained
outside. Either from frustration or to get attention the sisters
started fighting with Glory invariably the loser. Fortunately the
owner realized he was not in a position to give the dogs the
attention
that they craved, and he relinquished them to ESRA.

Glory now lives in
north east Georgia with a German Shepherd, a Yorkie
and two cats. She has developed from a fairly timid dog to a
boisterous Springer, and has become the ESRA poster child.
