Hi! My name is Dakota, People used to call me Emerson but my new Mom and Dad gave me this awesome name cause they said I didn't look like an Emerson. I have been through a lot over the past year. I was fostered out and found my forever home in Dec. with my new family in Pilot N.C. It's just north of Zebulon. As you can see in my pictures I am very happy with my new sister Cheyenne. I also have a brother Pete,(he's a cat) and he's a really BIG friendly guy. We all love each other and play and share our food and toys and of course our Mom and Dad. I have a really nice home in the woods and I'm the king back here. My sister is kinda getting old and can be grouchy but she's a big help teaching me the things we're not allowed to do or go. In these pictures I just got my first haircut and I'm looking pretty handsome, but Mom says that I'm even more handsome now that My coat is all grown out and my feathers and ears are all even and long. I hope everyone out there is as lucky as me to find a forever home where they love you so much. God was really looking out for me and my family. He knew that this was the perfect place for me and that my Mom and Dad would love me no matter how many mistakes I had or how long it took for me to learn the rules. Now I'm perfect:-) I never get in trouble and I'm a big man around here! Thank You ESRA for helping me find a forever home!
