We adopted Tebow in Houston in the Spring of 2009 and changed his name to Cooper. Cooper is now sharing his permanent
home with two adults, two daughters (9th and 11th grade), a cat (Cooper’s best animal buddy), Zebra Finches (about 15 which
he just looks at in their cage), 2 outdoor rabbits (whom he quickly learned to just observe) and some obnoxious neighbor terriers
who yap every time there is any sound from our side of the cedar fence. Cooper quickly learned to ignore them as they run up
and down the fence yapping. And oh, last but not least, the local squirrels that run the powerlines above the back fence at
certain times of the day and his favorite targets, tennis balls. He is truly a Velcro Springer and will constantly drop tennis
balls in your lap, you stuff them beside you in your chair while you are trying to get computer work done.
We recently took Cooper to Tom
Bass Park in Houston for a couple of hours of running in the fields. While he’d suffered from heartworm and was treated while
in foster care, Cooper shows no signs of any long term affect. He has the most energy I’ve ever seen in a dog and will run around
and retrieve tennis balls non-stop on land or in water. Here are some photos from his morning at the park the day after Thanksgiving: Regards,
Rich and Maureen Beck
