Hi! My name is Brandy Sue and this is my Happy Ending. Thanks to the very nice people at ESRA, I was rescued from a shelter. I was able to have surgery for my hips and a chance for a normal life. My ESRA foster family took very good care of me after my surgery. They love me very much, but they wanted me to have a family of my own and they found one for me.

My new family had a special friend waiting for me. His name is Andrew and he's also an English Springer Spaniel. He was adopted from a shelter, so we have a lot in common. We like to play together and whenwe're tired, Andrew and I curl up together. Sometimes, we tell each other our secrets about what our lives used to be like before we were adopted. We're both glad to have a home with a "Mom" and a "Dad" that love us a lot.

We encourage anyone considering a Springer Spaniel to adopt either from ESRA or your local shelter. Prior to adopting our first Springer, Andrew, we had never had any personal experience with the breed. Andrew had had a hard life and needed a good home, so we adopted him without knowing anything about Springers. Much to our delight, we discovered his Springer personality – cheerful, intelligent, curious, and always desiring to please. When searching for a second dog, we quickly decided that we'd like another Springer and found Brandy Sue. She's all Springer! She is such a delight and we are so happy to have her.
