Petapalooza
The ONLY "pet party in the park," is Saturday May 17th at Suwanee Town Center Park in Suwanee, Georgia. This event is presented by Star 94.  Bring your entire family, including the family pet, out for a FULL day of fun, clinics, dog events, pet adoptions and LIVE music.

Meet Your Best Friend at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

Should you find yourself seeking a new best friend, this is an event not to be missed.  ESRA will take applications and explain our adoption and screening process to attendees as they meet our friendly Ambassadogs.  20 area rescue groups and humane organizations will participate in this event; some place animals the same day.  Volunteers will be needed in shifts to talk to the public, pass out literature, and hold leashes of foster dogs.

Pup-tails at The Iron Horse Tavern

Bring your well-behaved, leashed dogs.
This is a monthly event that takes place at the Iron Horse Tavern for various rescue groups.  Apparently, a lot of the local folks who live in Norcross attend, too, and bring their dogs.
The majority of the proceeds will benefit ESRA.  All admission fees include one drink and one raffle ticket for prize drawing)
$10 per adult
$5 per child under age 18
Dogs are FREE (after all, they ARE the special guests)

Southern California Springer Play Day

This park is close to the 55 and 405 freeways and has BBQs, restrooms, and a beautiful large grass area where we will set up a temporary fence play area for the dogs to run around and play.
As we get closer, we will send around a pot luck sign-up sheet, and also announce other fun activies we will have available that day.  I will send an invitation via email in the middle of June, and a save-the-date announcement shortly to all of you, so that you can forward it anyone you feel would like to come. We look forward to seeing all of you, and having a day of fun and Springers.  I'm so sorry that I was unable to make the date work for everyone, this seems to be the date that worked for the majority.
