her. She is so endearing from the moment you meet her. She is
housetrained, knows how to sit, and is great with children. She is friendly with other
animals as well, doesn't bark, growl, dig in the yard or get into the garbage.

Posted: 04/20/2008 Hello, my name is Larz. I am a handsome Springer, about 5 years old. I have a shaggy white coat with auburn markings around my eyes, on my ears and backside. I also have cute freckles on my nose and legs. I love being with people as you can tell from the big smile on my face in the photos above. I have been socialized with other dogs and do well with them. I am quite an energetic boy so I'd love to find a person/family that will keep me active. I am searching for a home that will give me all of the love and affection I SO deserve. My adoption fee is $325; this includes neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, and all medical. You may also download an adoption application from our website. Thank you! The SPCA spays or neuters all dogs and puppies. Dogs over six months of age are heartworm tested, and heartworm preventative is applied monthly while in the SPCA's care. Heartworm positive dogs are treated. All dogs and puppies are given medication for roundworms and are tested for other intestinal parasites. If worms are found, the dogs are treated. All dogs and puppies are checked and treated for fleas. All dogs in our care are vaccinated for DHLPP, rabies, bordetella nasal, and bordetella injection; puppies are provided three DHLPP vaccinations. Dogs and puppies are individually priced.

Posted: 4/20/2008 Roscoe was found as a stray and wound up being taken in by a good samaritan who thought he was a wonderful dog and contacted us for help. Can you believe no one claimed this good looking boy?? He is being fostered by the woman who found him and is housebroken and does very well with her other dogs and cats. He loves to run and play and is very affectionate with everyone in the home including children. He is approx. 1 year old and 45 lbs. We feel he is probably mixed with some Lab. He will be neutered on 4/22 and fully vaccinated.

Posted: 4/20/2008 Oreo is a Springer/beagle mix so you get the Springer personality with the beagle coat and size. Since her hair is short, her coat will be very easy to maintain. Oreo is very sweet natured. All she needs is a loving home. Please consider giving her a home today.

Posted: 04/05/2008 Who Who and his best friend Alisha, Brittany Spaniel, were recently turned over to the Wee Bar None Ranch by their owners, who had to move to a rental home where no dogs are allowed. We will be placing them together. They are wonderful dogs, very well mannered and with great dispositions. Currently in a foster home, we wish to place them soon with a family who will bring them into their daily lives. Please contact the Wee Bar None Ranch for information.

Posted: 04/05/2008 My previous owner did not have time for me so they relinquished me. I am spayed and good with kids! I enjoy a good game of fetch! They say I weigh 36 lbs. which is on the smaller size for an English Springer Spaniel but probably I was bred to hunt. I am like most springers, very active, smart, people oriented, easy to train with positive reinforcement, and ready for a good walk or run every day.

Posted: 3/31/2008 Matt is houstrained, knows basic commands such as sit, stay, paw, etc. and does not chew on things except for his toys and bones. He has han excellent temperament and is an all around great dog. He is up to date with routine shots, housetrained, and has been neutered. Posted:03/29/2008 Bessie was found as a stray and taken to an animal control facility. She was pregnant and ready to deliver at anytime. Because animal control was not set up for her situation, Bessie was turned over to us. She delivered 7 puppies and was an excellent mother! Bessie earned her name because, when she came in pregnant, she was as bog as a cow plus she's black and white! Bessie is estimated to have been born around 1998. Imagine how many litters she's had over the years! Bessie went through her spay surgery successfully and is now waiting for a home. She appears to be completely house trained and is a very gentle girl. Bessie may need to be crated when left alone in her new home as she exhibits some mild separation anxiety here at the shelter. Bessie gets along well with everyone she meets! Bessie is just an old girl that would love to have a home where she will be spoiled and loved in her "golden years".

After talking with HOPE rescue about Cisco, his personality sounds very Springer-like, but he has shorter hair! His age is estimated on personality and energy level. Sounds like this boy would be a loving and loyal companion.

Randy was turned into the city shelter in Austin after the person who had him for three years finally decided that he might have a better life somewhere else -- who knew! Life on a rope in the backyard isn't very fun! But Randy's days are looking much, much brighter now.
